I am a homebirth midwife. I provide complete, thorough prenatal care, home delivery and the most comprehensive postpartum care in the area. My clients are from a variety of backgrounds and faiths.

I midwife to return to my clients the care and unconditional love that my midwife gave to me. This connection with each of my clients enriches us both. I love to help families develop.

I am the mother of three children, born in 1974, 1980 and 1983. The two youngest were born at home with the same Direct-Entry Midwife. I am the proud grandmother of three boys.  I have been married since 1980 to the best massage therapist on the planet.

I attend births in the Colorado Springs/Pueblo/Canon City area and routinely travel within a one-hour radius of my home. Births more than one hour away will be considered on an individual basis.

Birth is a rite of passage and a potentially empowering time in a woman’s life. My goal is to reinstate this rite of passage in a gentle manner and assist mothers to birth their babies the way they have envisioned. I believe in the inherent safety of birth, but view my role as “doorkeeper”. I feel strongly about self-responsibility for one’s life choices, especially health care.
