Heather Johnston is a Licensed Direct-entry Midwife providing homebirth services to women and their families from Salt Lake to Cache Valley. I gave birth to my three children at home with the help of a midwife. I cherish these experiences and love how I was able to feel safe and cared for during my births. We all want a healthy mom and a healthy baby and there is no reason you can't have a fabulous experience to go with it.

I graduated from the Utah Association of Community Midwives in 1995, completed colinical training and began independent practice that some year. I received my Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) certificate in 2002 which documents my education, skills and experience. I maintain current CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation certification and participate in regular continuing education and peer review.  I am currently licensed by the State of Utah which allows me to carry certain medications such as pitocin, RhoGam and local anesthetic.
