Wyoming Midwives

 I am a homebirth Midwife and Doula who is joyfully attending births in the Southern Colorado region. My love of childbirth developed from the home birth of my two children in 1995 and 2001. I believe that the role of birth attendant should be to offer support and advice, and to help create a safe and comfortable place for a mother to give birth, without unecessary interference. 

      My office is in down town Colorado Springs, but I am willing to travel up to 2 hours for your birth. I also offer a lovely, private, "birth-suite" for out of town mothers who wish to give birth in Colorado Springs, to be more near back-up emergency care. I am happy to help you with a water birth, and I have a labor pool available for rent.

      I am a licensed massage therapist and hold an advanced degree in Naturopathy from Trinity College of Natural Health, both of which I am happy to integrate into my practice to encourage healthy mothers and babies! I also offer comprehensive prenatal, birth and postpartum care, including (but not limited to): urinalysis, labwork, ultrasound, blood pressure, pulse and fetal heart tone monitoring. The basic clinical care I offer is comparable to a physicians office, but with one hour check-ups to help develop a relationship of caring and trust.
    
     I work under two local midwives and have several trained birth assistants, whom you may chose from to assist at your birth. With me you get two midwives for the price of one! I accept all major credit cards, and have flexible payment plans.
